Hanover-Horton Area Historical Society’s Spring  Craft Show-

I’m starting the season out at the Hanover-Horton Area Historical Society’s Spring Craft Show on Saturday, April 11 from 10 am to 5 pm.  I will be there with my country cookbooks, from The Recipe Exchange, fun and functional country aprons, a unique collection of note cards featuring my award winning photography and my latest novel, Wild Irish Rose. Come and see all of the amazing arts and crafts!  This is an inside show so don’t let the weather keep you at home.  Please stop by my booth and say HI.  I’d  love to meet you!

Lenawee District Library’s Local Author Fair-

Be sure to mark Saturday, April 18th on your calendars!  Lenawee District Library’s Local Author Fair is at the main branch (4459 W. US 223, Adrian, Michigan) from 2 pm to 3:30 pm.  This is a great opportunity to see what your local writer’s have to offer.  I will have my novel, Wild Irish Rose available for purchase along with the cookbooks (from my column The Recipe Exchange), Country Cooking, Country Breads and Country Cakes, Pies and Desserts.  This is a fun event and I hope to see you there!

Jackson County Master Garden Tour-

Blackman Park in downtown Jackson is where the action will be on Saturday, June 27th.  The Jackson County Master Gardener Association is featuring a market filled with the works of local artists.  I will be there with my eclectic award winning photography including framed and unframed prints.  I will also have a collection note cards  featuring my beautiful and unique images.  Please enjoy the garden tour and the artists’ market.  Stop by and say Hello – I hope to see you there!

 

 

WHERE I’VE BEEN:

Come and enjoy a great day with me at the Napoleon Winter Craft Show on Saturday, December 14th from 9am to 3pm.  I will be there with my Country Cookbooks – full of tasty recipes from my column, The Recipe Exchange, hand-made Country Aprons and my novel Wild Irish Rose.  This is a wonderful show with lots and lots of creative gift items for yourself and your loved ones.  I hope to see  you there!

 

Enjoy Adrian’s First Friday event on November 1st  and visit with myself and other local others at the Gallery of Shops located at 136 E. Maumee Street, Adrian, Michigan.  This is a fun event for all ages and I hope to see you there!

 

 

Come and explore downtown Jackson and enjoy the Art Walk on  Friday night, September 6th from 5pm to 8pm.  You will find me with my photographic art in the lobby of JTV located at 152 W. Michigan Avenue.  The Art Walk is being held in conjunction with The Bright Walls Festival.  I hope to see you there and be sure to stop in and say “HI” 

 

 

September is Apple Fest time in Coldwater, Michigan.  I will be there as a vendor, with my cookbooks – Country Cooking, Country Breads and Country Cakes, Pies and Desserts.  I will also have a large selection of handmade aprons in a variety of patterns AND I will have my new novel, Wild Irish Rose there for sale as well.  Come enjoy the fun September 21st from 9 am to 3 pm. 

 

 

The St. Catherine Laboure Annual Craft Show – October 19th from 9am to 3pm,  in Concord Michigan is the highlight of the fall season.  Please join me at the show.  I will have my Country Cooking cookbooks and my Country Aprons for sale (start thinking Christmas!) along with my debut novel Wild Irish Rose.  This show is one of the great ones!  I hope to see you there.

I hope you get a chance to experience the Manitou Beach Farmer’s Market this summer, located at the corner of Manitou Beach Road and Devils Lake Highway in Manitou Beach, Michigan.  I will be there the following dates – June 8th and 29th then in July on the 6th, 20th and 27th – alternating, selling my cookbooks and aprons, with my photographic art.  And of course, I will have my newest novel, Wild Irish Rose on hand.  Please stop by my booth and say “HI”.  I would love to see you!

Come and join me for a day of fun and art at the Devils Lake Festival of the Arts this Saturday, June 15th.  There will be over 60 eclectic artists displaying their creative works.  You will find me with my award-winning photography in the Farmer’s market boat house.  The Festival is located at the corner of Devil’s Lake Highway and Manitou Beach Road.  Shuttles will run every 15 minutes. 

Come and enjoy The Lenawee District Library(4459 US-223, Adrian, MI) Author Fair on Saturday, April 20th from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. I will be there with my new novel, Wild Irish Rose.  There is an amazing amount of talented writers right here in the area.  Please stop in to take a look, maybe buy a book or stop by for a chat and ask any questions you have.  This is a fun event and I hope to see you there.

 

 

I am joining all the great crafters and artists at the Onsted Craftapalooza on December 1st from 9am to 3pm.  The event is sponsored by the Onsted Area Chamber of Commerce.  I will be there with my brand new cookbook – Country Cakes, Pies and Desserts and my new fun and colorful aprons.  I will also have my cookbooks,  Farmhouse Cooking, Country Cooking  and Country Breads for sale at the show.  I hope to see some familiar faces and hope to meet some new folks too!  Please stop by my booth and say HI – I would love to meet you. 

 

You will find me at the very fun New Jerusalem Christian Fellowship Fall Craft Show on Saturday, November 17 2018 from 9am to 3pm.  I will have my newly published cookbook, Country Cakes, Pies and Desserts along with my other cookbooks:  Farmhouse Cooking, Country Cooking  and Country Breads at the show.  I’ve also created a line of colorful and fun aprons.  What is a good cook without her apron!?  I hope to see you there.  This is one of my FAVORITE craft shows!

I’m doing just one art event this year and it is next Saturday, June 30th.  I will have my photographic art on display for viewing and purchasing (if you are of a mind!) at the Master Gardener Garden Tour and Garden Market, at the Grass Lake Depot in Grass Lake, Michigan.  The hours of the garden tour and market are 10 am to  5 pm.  This is going to be a great event and lots of fun.  I hope to see you there.

I feel so privileged to announce that this piece of my photographic art, A Study in Pink, will be on display as an entry in the Greater Lansing Orchid Society show in the Plant and Soil Conservancy on the MSU Campus in East Lansing, Michigan this coming weekend.  The show dates and times are:  Saturday, February 28th from 11 am to 5 pm, with judging of art at noon.  Sunday, March 1st from 11 am to 4 pm.  If you are in the area, I hope you get a chance to stop in.  The orchids are beautiful and the art is amazing.

New Jerusalem Craft Show

Come and enjoy the arts and crafts at the Fall Craft Bazaar, this Saturday, November 22nd, from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm, at the New Jerusalem Christian Fellowship church located at 14977 Harper Road (the front of the church faces US 127 about a half mile north of US 12).  I will be there with both of my cookbooks, Country Cooking and Farmhouse Cooking along with my photographic art.  I hope to see you there.  Please stop by my table and say “HI”.

 

 

 

Coldwater Craft Show

Saturday, November 1st is the Fall Festival and Craft Show in Coldwater at the Legg Middle School located at 175 Green Street.  I will be there with my cookbooks, Farmhouse Cooking and County Cooking along with my photographic art.  If you get a chance to go, please stop by my booth and say HI.  I look forward to seeing you.

 

Please come and join me at the 25th Annual Brooklyn Arts and Craft Show.  I will be there with my photographic art.  The show will be held in the Columbia Middle School, located at 321 School Street, Brooklyn, Michigan.  The door will open at 9am and the show will last until 4pm.  All proceeds from the show go toward projects that the club does locally.  I hope to see you there and please stop by and say HI.

Coldwater’s Applefest 2014 is looking to be a fun and entertaining festival.  I will have a booth in front of House of Beauty on Chicago Street (US 12), selling both of my cookbooks and hopefully (depending on the wind and rain forecast), I’ll also have a display of my photographic art.  I was a vendor at this festival two years ago and had a wonderful time.  Main street was full people enjoying a variety of arts, crafts and good things to eat.  The Coldwater Area of Commerce does an amazing job of coordinating all aspects of the festival.

Come and enjoy the Grass Lake Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 6th.  The festival runs from 10 am to 4 pm.  I will be in booth 32, on the east end of Michigan Ave, just east of Lake Street, with both of my cookbooks and possibly my photos too.  I would love it if you’d stop by and say HI.

 

I will be a vendor at the Manitou Beach Farmers Market, from 8 am to noon on the last 3 Saturdays in August, the 16th, 23rd and 30th, with my cookbooks and photographic: art.  The Market is located at 290 Devils Lake Highway, right next to the Lighthouse building ( Devils Lake View Living).  I hope you get a chance stop by and check out not just the Farmer’s Market, but the renovated Manitou Beach district, complete with a great coffee & ice cream shop, gift shops and restaurant.  See you there!

 

The huge US 12 & US 127 yard sale was so much fun!  I want to thank everyone who came out and stopped by my booth.  It was so good to see you all.

At Little Shoppes

I’m going to be a vendor in the parking lot of Little Shoppes, located 1/2 mile west of US 127 on US 12, next Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the HUGE US127 – US12 yard sale.  I’ll have both of my cookbooks, County Cooking and Farmhouse Cooking, on hand for sale.  And, depending on the weather, I’ll also have a display of my photographic art, also for sale.  I hope to see you there.  Be sure to stop by my booth and say HI.

 

I had a great time at the Addison Days Festival.  I saw some folks I haven’t seen in ages, and met some new people too.  Thanks everyone so much for stopping by my display.

I am participating in the Addison Days Festival featuring local artisans and authors.

I will be in the historic Central Warehouse building on the north-east corner of Main and Talbot streets, in Addison, with my cookbooks, Farmhouse Cooking and County Cooking, and with my photographic art. The artists’ booths will be open right after the parade from 11 am to 6 pm.

At the Morenci Sportsman’s Club annual Indoor/Outdoor Rummage Sale on Saturday, April 12th., 8 am – 2pm with both of my cookbooks, Farmhouse Cooking and Country Cooking.  Chock full of recipes that have been featured in my column The Recipe Exchange.   I’m happy to say that, I’ve been invited to speak at the Inter-Lakes Lions Club meeting on February 10th about how my column, The Recipe Exchange, came into being.  The meeting begins at 6:30 and is in the Somerset Center community Building.  I am excited to share my story and want to thank Barbara McNutt for this opportunity. This year is going to end on a wonderful note.  My several of my photographs will be on display as part of an exhibit by the Jackson Camera Club in the East-End Jackson District Library located at 3125 E. Michigan Ave, Jackson, MI.  The exhibit begins on December 30th and runs through the month of January.  I hope you have a chance to stop in and enjoy the amazing variety of photographic art.
